All the services provided by the Group have been carefully chosen to promote feelings of peace, calm and well-being, and to counteract the unpleasant side effects of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. All therapists are specifically trained in therapy for cancer patients.
The following range of therapies, workshops and support groups are provided free of charge at Tallaght Cancer Support Group.
Professional counselling is available by appointment at our centre from fully qualified, professional counsellors.
Yoga For All
Drop-in Yoga Class for all those affected by cancer. Suitable for all levels – no previous experience necessary. Take time out; come along, learn to relax, breathe & move mindfully. Do something good for your body, mind & spirit. Practice with kindred spirits in a friendly, discreet & understanding environment.
Time: Thursday 10:30am – 12:30pm
Please allow time before class for arriving & settling.
Place: St. Mary’s Priory (in the retreat house), Tallaght Village, Dublin 24.
Dress in loose comfortable clothing & bring your Yoga mat & an open mind.

Acupuncture by a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association and the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association.
Reflexology, hand and foot massage are provided by professional therapists. Therapies available by appointment only.
Drop-in mornings are Mondays – Fridays, from 10am to 2pm. Feel free to call in for a chat, arrange an appointment or avail of a sympathetic listening ear. Our kettle is always on the boil.
We have a wide range of information, books and leaflets on all types of cancer, treatments, statutory entitlements and other services. What information we do not have, we will seek to get for you.
